What a Father's Day-Four Children

Well I can not believe the news we received today!!!!! Judah is officially our son-I am going to shout it again--Judah is officially our son!!!! I got the call this evening.  The judge in Uganda signed the custody papers so we have four children.  We now wait for the affidavit to be drawn up and a court date to be given  so we can go get him.  There is a chance (and  I mean a miracle) that we could go to Uganda in a few weeks.  The judges will be taking a break from July 15 to August 15.   So what this means-- our court date will most likely be at the end of August or beginning of September.  But MAYBE before July 15.  I have been so amazed at how God has orchestrated every step.  So as we continue to wait for the court date-we wait knowing that Judah is our son!!!!
I have to marvel at the Lord's timing.  Could there be a better Father's Day gift for my precious husband?

  1. "Savior, He can move the mountains...MY GOD IS MIGHTY TO SAVE!" Let's pray for that miracle!

  2. Lindsey,
I have loved reading your blog and catching up with your life. What an awesome God we serve! I am praying that you get Judah before July 15.
Judah is such a precious little boy and I can't imagine how you must feel waiting to have him in your arms. I am praying for that to happen fast! His smile is captivating. He looks so fun and happy and full of life. I can't wait to see how God continues this journey. Thanks for blogging about this special addition to your family and exciting time in your life!
